Content Strategy & Content Marketing

Content Strategy & Content Marketing

Content should be powerful.

It should inspire. It should empower. It should help people to think and decide and do.

Because powerful content is about more than excellent websites or publications or social media. It's about the people who matter to you and your organization. Your customers, your colleagues, your community.

What is your strategy to make your content powerful?

Every day, I help colleagues answer this question—through low-cost research, practical plans, and thoughtful implementation.

The truth is that to create consistently powerful content, it's not enough just to hire talented writers, editors, designers, videographers, or web developers. Your organization also needs an overarching strategy for its content. That means identifying your business objectives and creating a realistic plan to create, deliver, analyze, and refine your content.

In other words, content strategy is about editorial substance and structure, but it's also about vision, workflow, and governance—the "invisible" factors that so often make the difference between long-term success and failure.
